But I'm with you on naps. Wish I had time to take more of them.Charlene Tegliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01483186891214783397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30115861.post-32167504137290235582010-01-21T17:16:59.201-04:002010-01-21T17:16:59.201-04:00A sun lamp is a great idea, Anny. It does double-duty and helps nudge those winter blues away.Anny Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05305873753916213970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30115861.post-91015152500741513072010-01-20T11:35:57.996-04:002010-01-20T11:35:57.996-04:00Both of those things help a lot, Kara. I get a little down in the winter when we can go weeks with hardly any sunshine.

I like to read and am thinking about taking up a new hobby this winter too. I'm still trying to decide what. I may take an evening course at a local fine arts school if I can find something that interests me.N.J.Waltershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18099894498766052188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30115861.post-15070612023311218512010-01-20T10:03:22.581-04:002010-01-20T10:03:22.581-04:00I do get the winter blues. The only thing good about the winter is that the kids are in school - LOL!!

I usually try to curl up with a good book on the days that I'm feeling blue...it helps me escape to a new world, meet new people, and dream of romance. When I am between books, I cross stitch. Both of those "hobbies" help me through the winter.Karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04746317916269177679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30115861.post-67912829592767502592010-01-20T07:48:00.681-04:002010-01-20T07:48:00.681-04:00It's great that you love winter, Kat. She's allergic to the sun so she loves this time of year.

I like the fact that the bugs are hibernating. *g* But, I hate the cold. With enough warm comfy clothes you can stay warm. And the bugs are hibernating which is a major plus for a bugaphobe like me.:-) Plus I just love the cold. It helps also that any and all snow shovelling is done by my apartment complex and not me. Yes that includes all walkways too.:-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02676691132983882122noreply@blogger.com
