Celebrate Books!
September 30th to October 6th is Banned Book Week. Make the time to read a book, especially one that's been banned at some point or another. Ideas are for everyone!
List of Banned Books that have shaped the world as we know it. There are some wonderful classics on this list such as: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain, 1884, The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger, 1951, Gone With the Wind, Margaret Mitchell, 1936, To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee, 1960, Where the Wild Things Are, Maurice Sendak, 1963 and Our Bodies, Ourselves, Boston Women’s Health Book Collective, 1971, to name a few.
