Throwback Thursday...Book Edition (Midnight Rainbow by Linda Howard)

MIDNIGHT RAINBOW by Linda Howard might very well be one of the hardest books to find in an original edition. I have a very early reprint but have never actually seen one with an original cover even though I've been searching for years.

Even though this book came out in the 1980's I still love it. Jane and Grant strike sparks off one another from the beginning. And there is a lot more to Jane than he realizes.

This series continues with DIAMOND BAY, another one on my keeper shelf.

BLURB:

Was Jane Hamilton Greer just a wealthy socialite in over her head or was she really engaged in espionage that could compromise U.S. interests for years to come? The only certainty was that she was being held captive, and special agent Grant Sullivan was the man to rescue her. Finding her was easy; getting her out was something else. But in the time they spent together, questions of guilt and innocence began to fade against the undeniable attraction between this fiery couple….
