Some great books there! I especially love JR Ward, although I'm behind. I haven't read the last 2 yet.
What a terrific list. Makes me want to reread some of those books!
I wish I had more time to read or else I might actually give some of these a chance. :)
J.R., Lauren Dane, Jaci Burton and more. Loved it! Makes me want to go read now *sigh*. =)
So far, I think I enjoyed Butch's story the most, Joely. Although, they're all fantastic.
LOL I know what you mean, Charli. As I was making the list, I was thinking hmmm...maybe I can find the time. LOL
I read a lot of these books before I started writing full time, Rene. I find it so hard to keep up now.
I know, Red. So many books and not nearly enough time.
Cool choices! I agree, there are just too many books out there and I can't get to them all fast enough. LOL
But I keep trying. My goal is to read 100,000 books before I reach 65.
So far I have about 89,000 to go. Yikes! I better step it up a notch, huh? :P
Thanks for stopping by my TT...also on books. Great minds and all...

Besides these, I'd add some of the oldies: Nancy Gideon's Midnight series, and Linda Lael Miller vampire trilogy. There's also Ann Rice's vampire series and Amanda Ashley's vamp series too. Heh! Oh, and let's not forget Lori H.'s Moon series (werewolves).
From the new crop of authors, I'd say Jackie Kessler, Richelle Mead, Karen Chance, Jim Burton, Cora Zane, and Cassandra Curtis (not because the last two are my friends, but because they're darn good writers!).
Thats a big goal, Cassandra. Hope you reach it. *g*
I've read Anne Rice's vampire books and really enjoyed the earlier ones, Tempest. I've read a couple of the Amanda Ashely and Linda Lael Miller, but none by the others. Thanks for the recommendations.
I just read the BDB books, and haven't read most of the ones on the list. Since I don't read a lot of paranormals, I don't know if I have a favorite, although I have read that Linda Lael Miller one someone mentioned.
*thinks* Well, of the BDB books, I liked the second one best. Lover Eternal, was it?
Oh!! Caressed by Ice. That's paranormal, isn't it? Hands down, my favorite paranormal of all time. I can't believe I'm the first one to mention Nalini. She's AWESOME.
I'm most looking forward to trying Rachel Caine and Eileen Wilks.
I love the Black Dagger Brotherhood (and I might be in the minority but I loved the last book) and Kenyon. I also love MaryJanice Davidson and Charlaine Harris and Kelley Armstrong.
Lover Eternal is a fabulous book, Ann. There are so many wonderful paranormal writers now. I haven't tried Nalini yet, but I've heard nothing but great things about her books.
I liked the last BDB book, Lorelei, but it wasn't as satisfying as the other books in the series. At least not to me. It was less romance and more straight paranormal. But I still enjoyed it. JR Ward is a heck of a writer!
I don't know if I've read any JR Ward, to be honest. I enjoy Kenyon's series and Katie MacAlister's Aisling Grey series, though. And so many more.
If you'd read one of the Black Dagger Brotherhood books by Ward, you'd remember them, Lisa. Can't forget those warriors!
I've never read any of the MacAlister books. So many wonderful series to read.
Aww, thanks! Wow, that's some company to keep.
Let's see, Eileen Wilks' Lupi books LOVE them. Rachel Caine's Weather Wardens are fabulous, your Tapestry books are up there too!
I LOVE all those!
I'm ashamed to say that I don't read much paranormal, but I really enjoyed Susan Sizemore's I burn/thirst/hunger for you series.
Our lists are surprisingly similar :)
You're very welcome, Lauren. :-)
I've never read Eileen Wilk's books. I've looked at them, but there never seems to be enough hours to read these days.
Hi, RG. Those are some of my favs, but certainly not all. *g*
Not everyone enjoys paranormal, Sam. I'm not fond of science fiction myself. Susan Sizemore's book are really good too.
LOL Great minds, Shelley. *g*
Great list. Will have to check some of them out.
