Reflections

Today is a day to sit back and reflect on my life, where I am personally and in my career. It's my birthday. And like on New Year's Eve, I like to think about what I've done, or haven't done, over the past year.

I honestly don't worry about age. I'm 45, but I feel about 25, so it's all good. But, time does have a way of passing quickly. I find the older I get the faster time goes. I honestly don't know what happened to the past decade. It disappeared in the blink of an eye. So, I'm re-evaluating all aspects of my life and plan on making a few changes in the coming year. Not big changes, just small ones that will improve the quality of my life.

Hubby took me out to breakfast this morning after he woke me with fresh orange juice and a present. Later, we're going to the movie. It's a good day to be me.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Happy Birthday NJ!!! I hope all your dreams and wishes come true. I am 46, and I know what you mean about the last decade flying by - don't know where the time has gone.

I hope you and your hubby have a fantastic day!!!!

Thank you so much, Kara. Time does seem to fly by faster as you get older. I'm not quite sure why it does that.

Thanks, Charli. I figure it's easier to make a small change than to make a major one. More of a chance that it will stick. A lot of small changes will eventually make a big difference.
