Thirteen Reasons I Love Autumn!
*
1. The cool, crisp days.
2. The changing colors of the leaves.
3. The pumpkins are ripening and turning up in the grocery store.
4. It's almost Halloween!
5. Thanksgiving isn't too far away.
6. The movies in the theatre are better.
7. You don't need an excuse to make soup.
8. It's time to put the flannel sheets on the bed.
9. The produce at the grocery store is fresh and colorful.
10. You can curl up with a blanket on a cool day and read a book.
11. It's time to break out the hot chocolate.
12. The days are getting shorter, but I always feel energized in the fall.
13. This is the best holiday season of the year. I mentioned Halloween and Thanksgiving, but Christmas isn't too far away either. :-)

See that's one thing I love about being Canadian, Thanksgiving is in October! My daughter's birthday is also in the fall, so it's a fun time of year for that too.

Great list!!

Yes, Halloween! Love the month of October. I've already decorated, but it's not until Oct. 1 that I do the official light plugging. Hehehe!

I wish we had fall here! The leaves don't turn colors in Florida, and hot chocolate is only an option about 2 weeks out of the year. lol!

#7 especially...I made a big ol' pot of vegetable beef this week.

We haven't had much of a summer this year, but the fall is beautiful!
Thanks for visiting my Tink TT.

Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away, Christine. I can't wait. :-)

I love October too, Tempest. My favorite month of the year. I decorate around the first weekend or so of October. I love the lights. *g*

I can't imagine not having fall, Nic. Although, I could do with a little more heat in the summer.

Sounds yummy, Lorilei. 'Tis the season for soup. I had a big bowl of vegeatable pasta soup yesterday for lunch.

It was the same here, Tink. Not much summer, but I'm looking forward to fall.

I love love love fall!

Growing up in Southern California this is a non existent season, but now that I live in Virginia, it's possibly my favorite.

Hey, Mechele. It's my favorite season.

Baking and soups. YUM. I don't have a crock pot, Lauren, but I know a lot of folks do. Maybe I should get one....hmmm....

It is Aline and Shiloh. I guess fall is in the air!

Hi, N.J.! *waving* :)

***8. It's time to put the flannel sheets on the bed.

I wish, but it ain't happening in my house. I have a hot night hubby (lol, that didn't sound right) who'd suffocate if I made him sleep on flannel sheets. He likes the cool slickness of cotton sheets, even when it's below zero. In fact, he insists on sleeping with the ceiling fan on and a fan in the [open] window, even when it's freezing outside. Brrr! I shiver all winter long. LOL

Great 13 list. :D Have a good weekend!

Hey, Titania. Gotta have flannel sheets. My hubby is just as likely to toss all the covers over on my side, which suits me just fine. LOL
