Morning

I love the early morning before the rest of the world is awake. The quiet before the traffic starts to rumble down the busy street outside my window.

I'm one of those people who loves to get up in the morning. There is always a sense of optimism in the air. The whole day is ahead of me. Anything can happen.

It's even better in the summer. Our bedroom window faces to the east and we get the sun shining in as soon as it rises. It energizes me for the day to come.

My hubby, on the other hand, has a harder time with the morning, but has made adjustments for me. It takes him a while longer, as he is naturally more of a nightowl, but he does eventually roll out of bed so we can have breakfast together.

I, in turn, struggle to stay awake at night so I can spend more time with him.

Are you a morning person or a nightowl?

Definately a night owl. I suppose I'm part vampire.:-) I love the night time, the quiet and the sounds. Plus in summer, it's cooler at night. My whole family is that way. My mom, my brother and I, we are all night people. It's just the way we were made. I do like staying up all night though and watching the sunrise. We get some spectacular sunrises around here.

I'm a morning person. There's nothing nicer than taking an early walk on a summer day before most people are out of bed. After nine at night I start to nod off.

The only time I enjoy a morning is if I haven't gone to bed yet. I'm a night owl, but then I don't sleep that well even when I try. And if you happen to be in the same place as me in the morning don't talk to me before I have my cuppa. Well, you can talk to me, just don't expect me to talk back.

LOL Kathy. I'm an early bird, just like my father was. My brother and sister are both night owls.

I'm with you, Shelley. I like being up and around before the rest of the world. And eleven o'clock at night is late for me.:-)

I'm a solid sleeper, Rachel. If I wake at night, I just roll over and I'm back to sleep. I've always been that way.

I'm awake in the morning, but don't expect any sense out of me late at night. LOL

I am a total night owl, and not one of those persons who wakes up and is totally with it. Takes me at least an hour to function. LOL!

It's amazing how different people are, Nic. I guess the thing to do it to know yourself. I get my best work done in the morning.
