Falling off the Wagon

Hear that thump?

That's me falling off the exercise wagon. I hit the ground a few months ago, or maybe it was the couch, and haven't managed to get myself up since. Well, that's about to change.

The weather is getting nicer so there is no longer any excuse not to get out and walk. It's time to blow the dust off my yoga tapes and start stretching. I feel pudgy after the winter. Not where I want to be.

So, here I go again. Hopefully, this time, I can hang on tight and not slip off the wagon

Have a great Monday!

I starting on a new exercise program too - mostly walking. I really need to get up off the couch - LOL. I am going to try my luck with audio books while I walk - but I haven't been able to get used to them so far.

Good luck!!

Good luck to you too, Kara. I became a couch potato over the winter, which is not good considering I sit at a desk the rest of the time when I'm working.

I've only ever listened to one audio book, but I can't say I enjoyed the experience. That was well over ten years ago. They're probably much better now.

I love audio books. I listen to them after I have read the book. It's neat to hear a voice actor giving sound to characters we love. I just finished listening to the audio book From Dead To Worse by Charlaine Harris.

I've never heard an audio book, but I know a few who do listen and they love them.

I can't wait for warmer weather, I like to take my dogs out for long walks, we can all get exercise that way.

Also NJ!! Did you know that you are #1 on the MBAM best sellers list? Just thought you should know.

:)

That's an interesting way to do it, Kathy, to listen to the books after reading them.

I hear you on the warmer weather, Jenn. It's sunny today, but the temperature is hovering around freezing.

*g* My editor emailed me this morning to tell me about Past Promises being #1 over at the MBaM website. I'm absolutely thrilled!

Congratulations on your #1 spot, NJ.

I've been pretty good with exercise recently although it has been summer. It's cooler in the mornings now but hubby is very good at waking me up and dragging me out for a walk before he goes to work. :)

Thanks, Shelley.

Good for hubby. *g* Although, I can't say much. I've been having a hard time motivating myself to get out there and walk.
