4 Stars for Finding Chrissten

Finding Chrissten has received a 4 Star review from Night Owl Reviews. Here is a snippet of what the reviewer has to say:

"The storyline is amazing and will pull you in from the beginning and hold you there till the end. I wanted to find out what was going to happen next and how they were going to help Chrissten and get her mate so that she could be truly free. The plot flowed well throughout the story."

All 5 Legacy books on Samhain Paranormal Best Sellers List

I just realized that all five books in the Legacy Series--Alexandra's Legacy, Isaiah's Haven, Legacy Found, Quinn's Quest and Finding Chrissten are on the Samhain Publishing Best Sellers in Paranormal list.

What a way to kick off the weekend. I did take a screen save shot to print later, but I couldn't figure out how to get it up on my blog. Technology eludes me sometimes.

4 Ravens for Fabric of Fate

BlackRaven's Reviews has given Fabric of Fate a 4 Ravens Review. Here is a snippet of what the reviewer has to say:

"What draws me to this series is Ms. Walters knack for creating an unusual plot with each installment, even though each book could be read as a stand alone. Fabric of Fate is a well-written story with engaging characters. The love is obvious to the point that it wraps around you like a warm cocoon."

Tuesday Teaser: Lily Blossoms

Today's Teaser if from the older woman/younger man contemporary/erotic romance Lily Blossoms.

Tuesday Teaser:

Letting out a huff of breath, he prowled around her kitchen. It was much like the woman herself—calm and welcoming, with a hint of spice. She’d obviously been working. He ignored the laptop but couldn’t resist glancing down at the papers strewn next to it.

His eyes skimmed and then jerked back—sex in public, roses, whipped cream and striptease. The words jumped off the page along with the underlined word “research”. He knew he was invading her privacy and that he should just walk away, but he couldn’t stop himself from picking up the sheet to study it further. When he did he noticed the book hidden beneath—Hidden Desires by Ms. Lillian.

Laying the sheet aside, he picked up the book and flipped it over, whistling under his breath as he read the blurb on the back. This was hot stuff. He knew it couldn’t be a coincidence, but his brain could hardly reconcile the Lily he knew with the woman who’d penned an erotic romance.

A slow smile split his face. He’d always known that Lily had hidden depths.

Good morning and welcome to Monday! The picture of the kitten says it all this morning. I'm up, but I already want a nap. lol Need to get some energy so I can get to work on my latest WIP. Hubby also mentioned taking me to see the new Johnny Depp flick today. Maybe peppermint tea, toast and honey will help. Off to have some breakfast.

FINDING CHRISSTEN Available Today!

FINDING CHRISSTEN, the next book in the Legacy series, is available today from Samhain Publishing! This can be read as a stand alone book, but is part of the Legacy series.

Legacy, Book 5

For eighteen horrific months, Chrissten Lawton was at the mercy of a crazy doctor and his pureblood werewolf flunky. She was subjected to experiments, beaten, mated against her will…and fading fast.

Just as she reaches the breaking point, the Haven pack comes to her rescue. Although any strange male makes her nervous, one of her rescuers stays by her side night and day, and something within her responds to this wolf’s gentleness.

From the moment Hank Brewer picked up Chrissten’s unique scent, he’s been driven to help her overcome her trauma-fed fears. He may be a half-breed, but he never does anything halfway. As he dedicates every waking moment to her healing, their fragile link leads them toward something they both hesitate to name.

But the danger isn’t past. Chrissten’s mate is still on the loose and he won’t rest until she—and the rest of Haven’s females—are taken for the cruel enjoyment of his rogue pack. Even though Hank would give his life to save her, the biggest challenge lies ahead. Admitting their love to each other.

Book of the Week--The Last Boyfriend by Nora Roberts

What have you been reading lately? I just finished Nora Roberts' THE LAST BOYFRIEND, book 2 in her Inn Boonsboro trilogy. Her books just keep getting better and better. This book is well worth checking out.

BLURB:

Owen is the organizer of the Montgomery clan, running the family’s construction business with an iron fist — and an even less flexible spreadsheet. And though his brothers give him grief for his compulsive list making, the Inn BoonsBoro is about to open right on schedule. The only thing Owen didn’t plan for was Avery MacTavish... Avery’s popular pizza place is right across the street from the inn, giving her a firsthand look at its amazing renovation — and a newfound appreciation for Owen.

Since he was her first boyfriend when they were kids, Owen has never been far from Avery’s thoughts. But the attraction she’s feeling for him now is far from innocent. As Avery and Owen cautiously take their relationship to another level, the opening of the inn gives the whole town of Boonsboro a reason to celebrate. But Owen’s hard work has only begun. Getting Avery to let down her guard is going to take longer than he expected — and so will getting her to realize that her first boyfriend is going to be her last…

If you love a good family drama, be sure to check out The Last Boyfriend, as well as The Next Always, book 1 of the Inn Boonsboro trilogy.

Snowy Monday

Woke this morning to a sea of white outside my window. Looks like we had a couple of inches of snow overnight. Yes, I did say snow. lol You'd never say it was spring by looking outside my window. Looks more like February.

I've been sick with the flu for almost two weeks now and haven't done any work on my writing in about ten days. Starting back at it this morning. Doing a rewrite on a book that I'm hoping to be able to submit by the end of the week if all goes well. Wish me luck.

Have a great Monday!

Welcome to Monday!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Mine was spent still struggling with this flu that won't seem to go away. I don't think I've ever been so ill with a flu in my life, but I think I see light at the end of the tunnel.

So, please forgive me for not blogging more this past week. Hopefully, in a few days, things will be back to normal.

Have a great week!
