Monday, Monday!

Welcome to Monday.

Hubby and I have already been out for our 40 minute walk around the pond. It was beautiful this morning with the mist rising off the water, the colors of the leaves painting the trees and shrubs, and the invigorating crisp air wafting all about.

I promised myself when I started on my health kick that I would only weigh and measure myself once a month, and I've stuck to that promise. I've got 12 days until November 1st. My exercise has gone pretty good so far. My problem is that I eat my biggest meal in the evening. I'm not a night-time snacker, but I eat too much for supper. That's the next challenge. I'm going to cut back on the supper portions and see what happens.

Have a wonderful week.

Hey N.J,
I'm glad to hear that you are happy with the changes you've made. It isn't easy thats for sure.

I wanted to take the time to let you know that I am half way through Capturing Carly and I have decided that breakfast is definately my favorite meal of the day and I don't even like breakfast, LOL. It's a fantastic read, i've only put it down long enough to write this email. I also noticed that the Book about Shamus is in e-book form, I can't wait for it to come out in print. I've been waiting to find out what happens to him for so long.

My only suggestion is to keep up the good work, you're writing keeps me enthralled to the very end. Have a good one.
Cheers,
Jenn Walters

NJ,

I understand the battle with weight loss, and am here supporting you. I like your idea of only looking at the scale once a month. I like wehat my clothes say a lot better than what the scale says.

I'm so glad you're enjoying Capturing Carly, Jenn. I got a lot of emails about the breakfast scene. *g*

Shamus will be out in print in November! YAY!

Thanks, AE. I'm trying to get healthy. I'm not getting any younger and I don't want to wait until something goes wrong to make a change. I want to be proactive with my health.

I can't notice much of a change, but hubby swears my tummy and butt looks smaller. *g* He may be biased, but I'll take his opinion any day.

Keep up the good work, NJ. It's so easy to slip into bad habits when it comes to food and exercise. I'm in the same position as you and have increased my exercise and are monitoring my food intake. I started running again this week. I'm paying for it at the moment, but hopefully I'll get past the sore muscle stage soon.!

You're so right, Shelley. It's so easy to slip into bad habits. Surprisingly, I've done well with the exercise. It's the cutting back on food that's the problem. LOL

Good luck with your running! I'm not a runner, but my hubby loves to run.
