Interesting music mix, NJ! I'm trying to remember some of those soundtracks I haven't heard in a while. Hmm...might be time to watch some movies. ;)
OMG! I love soudtracks too. I know every song on your list from movies and have them downloaded as well. lol
I love soundtrack music for inspiration, Nic. I think it's because you can evoke the movie images and tap into the emotion.
Great minds, Rene. :-)
The LOTR soundtracks are great, Ciar. Full of emotion.
love Nickelback.
and Evanescence.
and Seether.
Oooh soundtracks too!
;-)
Ohh NJ I love Nickleback. I just saw then in concert a few weekd ago.
Great list.
I love number 3 and 4. I listen to them all the time when I'm writing.
I like soundtracks when I'm trying to get a certain mood for writing, Jaci. Can't write with music on, mind you, but it puts me in the right frame of mind.
Cool that you saw Nickelback in concert, Jenn. I missed them when they were here a few years ago.
I used Bring Me to Life as a theme song when I wrote Stefan's Salvation, Crystal. And I used Never Again for Craving Candy. Never again actually gave me the idea for the opening dream scene with Lucas.
Oh! Great music, NJ. I love the music from Moulin Rouge, Last of the Mohicans and LOTR.
Soundtracks are always great, Charli!
LOL Michelle. I had the tape, which had the shortened version of the song, so I bought the Clannad CD with the song on it as well. I really love that song!
Wow, lots of soundtracks there! When I think soundtracks, I usually go with the old classics - anything by John Williams. Actually, I keep the Harry Potter soundtrack in my car for spooky night driving. LOL!
What a wide mix of songs! I love Enya.
Enya and Annie Lennox are definitely on MP# player!
I actually have none of those on my MP3 player. I have a lot of Clannad, but not what you do. Hmmm.
Love your selections!
I've never paid attention to the Harry Potter soundtrack, Bianca. But it sounds great.
I really enjoy Enya, Shelli. Great music to relax and think.
Tempest, I realized that I have quite a few Annie Lennox on my MP3 at the moment.
Great writing music, Nancy.
Thanks, Brenda!
I love music and your MP3 choices but I tend to blank out when I'm writing. I don't hear anything but the voices in my head. I'm very envious of people who have special music.
Love your play list. Another soundtrack I like is the one for King Arthur. Have you heard it yet?
I just ordered the soundtrack from The 300 yesterday. I loved the music. I'm big on soundtracks too!
Shelly, I can't listen to music while I write. I have to have silence. But I do use music when I'm thinking about the story. It helps give me ideas and puts me in the mood to write.
Lauren, I'll have to admit that I didn't pay too much attention to the soundtrack of 300. I must have been distracted by....ummm...other things. *g*
