Weekend Book Club
This week I've read three very different books, but I enjoyed all of them.
The first book is Sarah's Soldier by Donna Gallagher and is part of her League of Love series. If you're looking for a smokin' hot and heartwarming love story with the flavor or Australia, this is the book for you.

Welcome to Monday. It's raining here again today. I'm working on my latest book, trying to get back on track. It seems every time I get into this story I get sucked back out for some reason. Wrote 3K today so I'm pleased.
But I just got the galley proof for the print version of Pride of the Lion, which means I'll have to break away from my WIP (work in progress) yet again and do this instead. Not that I really mind. I mean, it's fun to be working on the copy for the print version of my book.
I hope once the galley proof is done and sent back I'll be able to really throw myself into this book. I'd love to get a rough draft done by mid-September at the latest. We'll see what happens.

Romance. I write it, I read it, I love it. But as a genre it's often ridiculed and criticized.

Be sure to celebrate all August long. And if you've never read a romance novel now is the time to try. There are many different subgenres and heat levels for you to choose from. You can try historical, paranormal, contemporary, romantic suspense, steampunk, mystery, fantasy or science fiction. You might like your romance sweet, sexy, spicy or smoking hot. Whichever way you like it, there's a romance novel waiting for you.
