I have seen a Natural Health in a long time. I have been picking up Women's Health when I can find it and RWR actually had a few interesting things in the June issue.
Natural Health magazine is almost impossible to find. I've managed to snag 1 issue in the past six months or so. I probably should get a subscription because I really enjoy it. I'll have to check out Women's Heatlh.
Hey NJ,
Are you in the August addition of Realms of Fantasy?
I am but I only glanced at it quickly and I don't have it with me.
Laura/L.A. Day
Realms of Fantasy sounds great. I'm not a huge magazing reader-I've always enjoyed National Geographic. There's an alternative archaeology mag-I cannot for the life of me recall its name right now. I used to read it all the time.
I think I was in the June issue, LA. I had an ad in one earlier this year too. Very cool!
Hey, R.G. We always had a subscription to National Geographic when we were kids, but I'll admit that I rarely read it. My sister used to read them from cover to cover.
I don't read a lot of magazines, honestly. RT, of course. There's a political one I read too.
But that's it.

I need to pick up Realms of Fantasy. I was going to get an ad in it, but wasn't sure if it was worth it or not.
You know, I have never read an RT a magazine. I'm going to have to buy one out of curiosity.
Playboy? Actually I used to read my brother's magazines when I was a teenager. Unlike women's magazines which always seemed to assume I had a fab figure, job, boyfriend, house, car, etc, the men's mags assume their readers are, well, a bit loserish, so you instantly feel better for anything you actually do have!
The only mag I've read lately is RT and Writers Digest online. I wonder why I don't get magazine subscriptions anymore. I think they just all ran out.

My dirty little pleasure is Entertainment Weekly. I've been reading for about 10 years, and their movie ratings are usually dead on, but their book reviews aren't. I like it because it doesn't over kill the Angelina/Brad/Britney/Lindsay/Paris gossip and provides real laughs.
And if you ask really nice, I'll let you look at a copy of my Western Horseman
Great list! I'm an Entertainment Weekly fan, too, Lorelei. I rarely have time for movies or TV (three kids, job, writing), so that's how I keep up on pop culture.
Otherwise, I'd be TOTALLY out of the loop.
I love Redbook personally. Yes, I'm showing my domestic side. hehehe
I'll have to check them out.
We get Playboy and yep, I think the articles are amazing!
Hmmm, I do quite a few each month for pleasure and work related, but whenever I head over to jolly ol' or the cutie does, it's 'Hello'...pure gossip, but the last issue had a fabulous recipe for spicy vegetarian soup [kept that before passing it on].
Sage Woman? What is this magazine about? I don't get very many mags anymore - I got tired of receiving all the junk mail that came from being on a mailing list. I do still get Nutrition Express. I just received Realms of Fantasy (yep, for my ad :D)
Tooles, NJ! Luv ya, darlin' :D
I love magazines! I could list them, but a lot are Dutch, so you won't know them. Sage Woman sounds interesting; is it something witchy?
Thanks for visiting my blue moon TT!
I ususually read two or three magazines a month, Anya. Some I pick up once or twice a year because something catches my eye.
You should check out Realms of Fantasy, Christine. It's an interesting magazine.
You have to read RT, Amanda. LOL I discovered it about 10 years ago and have been reading it ever since.
Hey, Kate. It's always interesting to see what's in men's mags. You get a different perspective on things.
Hey, Michelle. I grew up in a household with a ton of magazine subscriptions. Everything from news mags, National Geographic, women's mags, sports, craft mags, etc... There wasn't much of a selection in the town we lived in, so my father always ordered them.
Loreli, my husband buys the spring/summer/fall/holiday movie issues of Entertainment Weekly, as well as the one with the new shows for the fall.
I don't read Entertainment Weekly, Kate. I depend on my hubby to keep me up on all the movie news. LOL
I haven't read a Redbook in years, Leslie. It's amazing how reading of certain mags ebbs and flows over the years.
You should check out some of the mags, Lori.
They really are, Lauren. And I like the interviews too.
I've never read Hello, Tilly, but I have seen it. Good recipes are always a great thing.
Hey, TJ. Sage Woman is a pagan magazine that usually focuses around one idea like "Joy". I've read a few issues and find a lot of it fascinating.
My pleasure, Tink. The Blue Moon is fascinating. And Sage Woman is a pagan magazine. It has some interesting articles and ideas.
Honetly I don't read a lot of magazines. RT of course, and my mother lends me People every week. The one I always enjoyed most was National Geographic and I used to subscribe to Astronomy but now I'm too scatterbrained to understand the articles.
My magazine reading has ebbed and flowed over the years. I read a lot as a teenager, then didn't read many for years and now I'm back to two or three a month. More around Christmas because there are always so many good recipes and ideas. LOL
I admit it-I love the trashy stuff-People, Us, Cosmo. But I also love my RWR and RT, so I'm not a total lost cause.
I enjoy the bi-monthly Writer's Digest. Always packed with great articles, writers tips & tricks. If you ever pick a copy, turn first to Kevin Alexander's article. He never fails to illicit a few laughs.
I more skim magazines than actually read them. I get too distracted by the visual stimulus. LOL!
I love this list! I may have to steal this idea for another Thursday. :)
We all like the "trashy" mags sometimes, Eden. Something totally frivilous. :-)
I'll be sure and check out his articles, Wylie.
LOL Visual stimuli is good, Nic!
Steal away, Carolan. It's interesting to see what other people are reading and to take stock of what you're reading yourself. :-)
I'm a big fan of SELF, personally. I read their articles, and it promotes healthy everything, which I always need motivation for.
Ebony, Jet, Entertainment Weekly, Soap Opera Digest (when I'm standing in line at Wally World), ESPN. I really need to invest in RT's mag. Every time I look for it in Barnes I can NEVER find it. I guess I just need to get a subscription. :-)
I used to read SELF Kate, but haven't in years. I should check it out again.
Entertainment weekly seems to be one of the more popular mags, Lyric. RT mag can be hard to find. I nagged my bookstore for years before they finally started getting it on a regular basis.
