"A single disturbed thought, creates ten thousand distractions?"
~Ryokan
Have you ever noticed how once you start thinking or worrying about something you can't seem to stop? That single thought can take your concentration away from work or keep you up half the night.
My plan for today--not allow myself to be distracted. LOL I'm off to work.
Have a great day.

That single thought can totally destroy your ability to write. Or if it's concerned with your story it can drive that writing. Good luck, NJ.
Thanks, Anny.
I tend to let things take over my thoughts when I get in bed at night. But thankfully, nothing keeps me from sleeping. *g*
Yes, single thoughts do tend to gnaw at a person sometimes and multiply, or at least they do with me. I usually gnaw at the thought until I solve the problem. I don't like being beaten. :)
Have a fun weekend, NJ.
I try and focus on something else. Sometimes when you're not thinking about it, the solution will come to you.
You have a great weekend too, Shelley.
I often find that thoughts will bug me till I find the answer. Like if I am wondering where I saw a certain person before or what there names are, it will drive me nuts until I remember. But, I also find that I often find things I've lost when I'm not looking for it. Yesterday, I was looking for a particular piece of paperwork and wound up finding a book of Garfield comics that I had been looking for a month before and couldn't find.
Not being able to place people or remember names and stuff drives me nuts too, Kathy.
LOL I'm glad you found the Garfield comics. I hope you find the paper you were looking for too.
