As many of you may have heard by now, Samhain Publishing will be closing its doors. I am deeply saddened as I have loved working with them over the years. I've been with Samhain Publishing since 2006 and they are a class act all the way.

Thank you to Christina Brashear and to the amazing editors I've had over the years. And a special thanks to my current editor, the amazing Heidi Moore. It's been an incredible 10 years. I'm just sorry it had to end.

Things you should know:

1. They will not be closing right away. My books are still available and will be for a while yet.
2. Authors are still being paid, so please buy their books.

Weekend Book Club--Fighting Dirty by Lori Foster

FIGHTING DIRTY is the latest book in the Ultimate series by Lori Foster. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm a big fan of Foster's MMA books. I'm sure I'll enjoy Armie's book as much as I have the others in the series.

Weekend Book Club--Brotherhood in Death by J. D. Robb

BROTHERHOOD IN DEATH is the latest offering in J.D. Robb's In Death series, which features one of the best heroines in any genre--Eve Dallas.

The storyline is not an easy one as the author tackles difficult subject matter. Robb pulls no punches and neither does the heroine. Eve Dallas must do her job while dealing with the ugly reality of her own past.

I can't say enough about this series. I grab these books as soon as they're available.
